Bella’s Halloween Blue
Under the deep blue night sky, there was a girl walking along a path illuminated by diamonds scattered like stars. She followed a pumpkin ghost glowing in a light sky blue hue, blending with the brightest backdrop of the world.
She followed a glowing pumpkin ghost, whose light blended with the background of the brightest world from the ground.Bella desired to touch the pumpkin ghost’s cloak. Its cloak sparkled like a galaxy, and her eyes longed to grab hold of it.
But Bella was a timid child and worried that she might sadden the pumpkin ghost, the owner of her own little galaxy.
So she lightly tugged at the cloak and followed behind the pumpkin ghost.Time didn’t seem to pass much for Bella as she followed the radiant light of the Milky Way from the pumpkin ghost’s cloak.
After a while, Bella arrived at a village where the lights of various colors captivated her eyes, making it impossible to look away. The lights in the village shone brighter than the twinkling light from the pumpkin ghost’s cloak.
However, Bella soon realized that the shimmering light from the pumpkin ghost’s cloak and the light in the village, although different in color, were shining in the same way.
Bella understood that the sparkling light from the cloak was actually illuminated by her own light. She could vaguely sense that there was a barrier preventing her from fully understanding the emotions she had just experienced.
Pumpkin Ghost knew that a child had been following him even before he arrived in the village. The child seemed to really like Pumpkin Ghost’s cloak. Pumpkin Ghost also liked the child, but there was a rule in the Pumpkin Ghost Village that outsiders should not be allowed in.
Pumpkin Ghost tried hard to remember what happened a long time ago, but he couldn’t recall anything. Now, it was just a rule that was passed down, mixed with legends and rumors, without any reason.
When Pumpkin Ghost arrived at the Pumpkin Ghost Village, he quickly tried to part ways with the child and headed towards his own home. However, the child stubbornly followed him and eventually caught up to Pumpkin Ghost’s doorstep.
‘Pumpkin Ghost, I can’t go without you, right? Right?’
‘Why aren’t you saying anything?’
‘Don’t leave me here alone.’
The child said a few words to Pumpkin Ghost, but Pumpkin Ghost remained silent. Seeing Pumpkin Ghost’s lack of response, the child seemed to give up and decided to explore the Pumpkin Ghost Village on their own.
Pumpkin Ghost debated whether to hide the child’s existence or leave them as they were and go on. But realizing that it was the Halloween season and there were no other Pumpkin Ghosts in the village, Pumpkin Ghost quietly watched the child wandering around the Pumpkin Ghost Village.
Bella looked at the Pumpkin Ghost Village and wondered where to go. Wherever she went, the Pumpkin Village was sure to captivate her with its elegant lights.
After briefly organizing her thoughts, Bella decided to walk along the large river that flowed through the Pumpkin Ghost Village.
The river in the Pumpkin Village could be seen from anywhere in the village. Like illuminating the night sky, the transparent river caught Bella’s eye.
As she walked along the river, she noticed a transparent soap bubble. It was recorded that if you put a candy inside the soap bubble, it would take you to the next stop.
Excited, Bella wanted to put a candy in the soap bubble, but soon realized that she didn’t have any candy. Tears welled up in her eyes as she realized she couldn’t ride the soap bubble.
That’s when something amazing happened right in front of Bella’s eyes.
Among the small, sparkling lights floating around the Pumpkin Ghost Village, one light turned into a gem in Bella’s hand. Watching this scene, Bella wondered if this gem could be the candy that should be put in the soap bubble. Curiosity got the better of her, and she put the gem in the soap bubble.
In that moment, the soap bubble shimmered like a gem and slowly started to rise towards the sky. Bella didn’t want to lose the soap bubble, so she quickly climbed aboard and looked back at the river of the Pumpkin Village.
After that, lost in thought, Bella remembered that the sparkling lights floating around the Pumpkin Ghost Village turn into gems when held in hand.
Bella drifted on a soap bubble for a while until her gaze fell upon a blue star. The soap bubble seemed to understand Bella’s heart and paused there, waiting for her. Until now, Bella had seen many stars, but none with four beautiful rivers like the blue star. She wished to descend to the blue star, but as the soap bubble began to descend again, she decided to come back someday to see the rivers there.
Before leaving, Bella saw something rectangular on the blue star that she had seen before. She took a piece of the soap bubble and recreated it, naming it a “notebook.” She wanted her notebook to be just like what she saw on the blue star, and eventually, it became similar. Bella started learning various words with her notebook, searching the names of the stars she had passed on Google’s search bar.
When creating her account, Bella faced a challenge because she lived within a floating soap bubble and couldn’t input an address. She decided to attach her account to the nearest visible planet. The soap bubble, seemingly understanding her desires, arrived at the closest planet, and Bella discovered its name – Proxima B. Excited, she entered “Proxima B” as her address and created her unique account. However, she faced another obstacle when required to enter details like country and city. Unfamiliar with such information, she successfully entered her preferred words as her address.
Bella, after briefly landing from the soap bubble, started her journey by searching for the names of the four rivers on the blue star. The blue star was named Earth, and its four major rivers were Tigris-Euphrates, Yellow River, Indus, and Nile. Bella, inspired by her settled life, created small rivers like those on the blue star, naming them Hydropotamia, Aurariver, Induvia River, and Aegyptia Flumen.
Bella was not satisfied with the names of the rivers. Perhaps, she felt that the beauty she had witnessed in the rivers of the blue star couldn’t be fully captured. Bella wanted to find words that could encapsulate the beauty she had seen in the rivers of the blue star. She took out her notebook and began searching for the origins of the rivers on the blue star.
